Roland.D.Mio is an artistic entity investigating
The boundaries where reality becomes indistinguishable from illusion.
Operating at the intersection of material culture, constructed truth, and collective belief, the practice
examines how authenticity is defined, validated, and accepted in contemporary society.
The work poses questions rather than provides answers:
When consensus determines truth, what becomes of objective reality?
When observation is always mediated, where does certainty reside? When authorship itself can be
questioned, what authenticates the artist?
Roland.d.mio exists in this space of perpetual inquiry—where the line between real and fabricated is
not a boundary to be crossed, but a condition to be inhabited.

Mixed Media Installation
This installation is an objective social experiment examining humanity’s uncertainty and selective trust in the post-truth era.
The work features two highly similar Birkin-style artifacts placed within an acrylic vitrine crisscrossed by obscuring fabric strips. Visitors are prompted to vote, using red or blue pills, to determine their perceived authenticity. This creation is rooted in my observation from the luxury industry: that reality is often not based on objective fact.
